Nathaniel-Capitol Hill writes: "Thank you for the Runcasts. I was listening to an older one a few hours ago (#627, "older AND smarter"?) and it really helped me power through. Could you play something for our fellow runners who need a starting/middle/end boost right about now? I think you mentioned LCD Soundsystem on the docket. That'd do it. Or some Strfkr? That's one that helped from the pod. Thanks either way!"

Ok. Very strange song request. But when RZA of WuTang rewrites the ice cream truck jingle it has to be played! -John from Magnolia INFO: Wu-Tang Clan's RZA has teamed up with Good Humor, the century-old ice cream company that brought us the original ice cream truck. The jingle, "Turkey in the Straw," came to fame at American minstrel shows in the 1800s where performers wore blackface, and later renditions of the melody developed offensive, racist lyrics. RZA sas, "We come to find out that it has racist roots (and) we wanted to make a melody that includes all communities, that's good for every driver, every kid."
