"Just wanted to take some time to thank you & everyone at KEXP for keeping me company during these trying times. I also battle with severe anxiety & depression and the past 3 months has been challenging to say the least; the last 2 weeks especially. KEXP and the voices of all of the DJ’s has been the 1 constant that I look forward to each & every day while I’m making masks. I start my days at 2am & work until 6pm making masks non stop, so having a soundtrack to keep me company is comforting to say the least. Austin right now is considered a hot spot for COVID so times are a little scary. Making masks & donating the profits to local charities (12k total) has really helped me stay connected to the community and KEXP has taught me to give back.

We haven't seen a follow-up to this 2015 solo album from Jamie xx yet, but he did release a new single this year. About the new song and his creative slump: "I made "Idontknow" as an outlet for my frustration over not being able to finish any music for a while. I tried to be less precious with my ideas and just let go."
