"My 8 year old son Liam and I enjoy listening to the KEXP morning show. He loves the Waterboys and the other day he called me into room to surprise me with a Waterboys lego concert he had created with lego (complete with food truck, stage, lineups and even car park). Any chance you can play a song for my little man? His favorite is Whole of the Moon but he also likes This is the Sea." - Bill, this is for Liam's awesome lego Waterboys concert stage!

"I’m cooking breakfast for my son (5) who is also a Henry. His favorite song is Hey Kirby by Aesop Rock because he loves cats and actually wants to be one. Could you please put it on? It would mean a lot" - Heeeeeeyyy Henry, this one's for you!

"There's one song that keeps popping in my head and I keep telling myself I'm going to listen to it and I haven't yet. I just keep humming it all the time. If you have time this morning, please play Jane's Addiction "No One's Leaving." Pretty much sums it up right now. Thanks again to you and all the KEXP DJ's who remind me that even though no one in my apartment is leaving anytime soon, I'm definitely not alone. We're not alone because we have each other, which I'm appreciating more and more with each passing Groundhog's day. Be well." - Patrick

"I'm stuck in Laramie, Wyoming missing my friends and family back in Washington... When I worked in Seattle I would take the ferry in the mornings and on particularly gorgeous days listen to Courtney Barnett as the sun rose on the city... Can I hear Hopefulessness/City Looks Pretty to alleviate a little of the homesickness?" - You got it, Jackson

"I’d like to request My Hero by the Foo Fighters. Earlier this week, my coworker mailed me some homemade face masks and I of course replied to her with a meme from this music video. (Because I’m a dork.) However, it really did make me think that there are people doing small things like making masks which will really make a big difference. So I’d like to dedicate this to her and all of the heroes who are fighting the good fight right now." -Tim

"I'd like to request Perfect Day by Lou Reed. I'm a teacher, and I've been having a really tough time being away from my students and coworkers. My partner, Matt, started working from home about a week or two after my school closed. Having him at home with me through all of this has helped me tremendously and leaves me feeling so grateful for him in my life. Even when we're uncertain if our wedding celebration will take place this summer, he always has a way of keeping me positive. Perfect Day is our song and I'd like to dedicate it to Matt." - Veronica

"So my nine year old, Liam, is really into WWE wrestling lately. During these quarantine times it has been nonstop and to the point where my wife and I had to put some boundaries on it as a way to dial it back. As a result, he wrote us a letter stating why it was unfair that he can’t play WWE whenever he wants. Reason number two was and I quote, “like Prince once said life is just a party and parties weren’t meant to last so why not cash it in now and have some fun”. After (of course) laughing for quite a while about having a nine year old quote Prince to make a point his parents, we put together a list of things for him to do everyday and once done each day he has the green light to play with his WWE guys as much as he wants. Love that kid so much. These crazy times can bring joy and laughter into our lives in ways that I couldn’t have imagined before. If you could play 1999 for him today that would be fantastic." - Jason, y'all are doing it right. This is for Liam.

"I feel like these last 30 minutes of music has been silently for the kids. And I love it. If it's not bad enough I'm landlocked to West Seattle without the bridge, I am wrapping week 3 without working. I'm a nanny. I have been for 22 years. I miss the little people. I miss the honestly. I miss the carefree-ness of them. I miss singing Benny & the Jets and it drives them crazy. I'm not crying, you're crying. We're both crying! (Although I don't miss stepping on Legos)" - Ann Maire

"I left my job of 15+ year last month for a new opportunity. Needless to say, the timing has been horrible. Starting a new job during a pandemic has been super stressful. On top of that, we have a 10 month old at home that we are trying to juggle between us while working. My anxiety and depression are causing me to be a roller coaster of emotions and my stubbornness is getting in my way from doing the things I know I should be doing for my on mental health. My husband, Jon, has been holding all of our lives together while I am struggling to get my feet under me. He has put in so much extra time and energy to ensure we all are taken care of during this crazy time. I want to request "Under Pressure" as a small token of my love and appreciation for that guy." - Meghan

So I'm listening with my 12-year old daughter Devon and talking about the importance of real radio and how KEXP has been getting us all through. We're still very excited for Bowiecorn to come at some point to make things even better. Rainbow Connection was already perfect, and if you are able to play "Trouble" by TVOTR at my daughter's request it would sound amazing today and any day, really." - Paul
