Black Marble is an American music project formed in 2012 in Brooklyn, New York. It is led by electronic musician Chris Stewart and formerly featured Ty Kube of Team Robespierre.

The track, which features US singer-songwriter Diana Gordon, is lifted from the artist's forthcoming album, Heaven To A Tortured Mind. The album marks his second full-length effort for Warp Records, following in the wake of 2018's Safe In The Hands Of Love.
Angel Deradoorian, formerly one of the Dirty Projectors vocalists at their peak, has carved out a great solo career for herself over the last decade. In 2015, she released her debut full-length, The Expanding Flower Planet, and followed that up with an EP, 2017’s Eternal Recurrence. Today, she’s announcing a new album called Find The Sun.
Following their 1979 EP Physical World, the band started work on a full-length album. Impressed by the rough mixes, Korova signed the group. Jeopardy was recorded inexpensively at Elephant Studios in London, and was produced by the Sound themselves and Nick Robbins.

The song’s theme was realised immediately; pressure to feel enough but not too much in a time of hyper connectivity, plus a personal reminder to be accountable for and have agency over the part of me that gravitates towards meltdown. It’s the first in a collection of tracks addressing myself as both the cause of and solution to my anxieties, as well as a shift in attention from predominantly relationship-based writing to a more self-reflective dialogue.

“The re-release of our first album had me thinking about the passage of time and its ultimate conclusion,” says singer Joe Casey of the new album. “Listening to No Passion All Technique again, I could hear myself hoping for an introduction and a long future, but also being cognizant that it could be ‘one and done’ for us. So, when it came time to write Ultimate Success Today, I was reminded of that first urgency and how it was an inverse of my current grapple with how terribly ill I’ve been feeling lately. Was that sick feeling coloring how I felt about the state of the world or was it the other way around?” Joe continues, “This panic was freeing in a way. It allowed me to see our fifth album as a possible valediction of some confusingly loud five-act play. In the same light I see it as an interesting mile marker of our first decade of being a band – a crest of the hill along a long highway. Although just to cover my bases, I made sure to get my last words in while I still had the breath to say them.”
Cable Ties are frenetic lead lines tethered to a hypnotic rhythm section. They take the 3 minute punk burner and stretch it past breaking point. Suddenly the garage rock gives way as primitive boogie, kraut and post-punk take things way out to the horizon.
Mino studied at the École des enfants du spectacle . She made her debut at 16 by joining the troupe of the musical Hair. Following the separation of the troupe, she began a solo career punctuated by several recordings released in the 1980s under her stage name, Mino .
