This single, released in November, was Andrew Bird's first in over a year. Andrew Bird wrote to say, "We find ourselves in a cold civil war. Everyone is playing their part too well. Certain actors are reaping power and wealth from divisiveness. Echoes of the Spanish civil war when fascists and clergy win because they put up a united front against the individualistic and principled (yet scattered) left. We can turn this ship around, but need to step back and be honest with ourselves about what's happening while it's still relatively bloodless." Read more and watch the video: www.npr.org

This song puts a big emphasis on groove. Kevin Parker explained: "The backbone of Tame Impala has always been a groove. I never wanted to do a song that you couldn't dance to – or groove to at least, whatever the differences between those things. I heard a few people say it was going to be more dance or club – orientated, and 'Let it Happen' is a song where I was flexing that fantasy." Watch the video for "Let It Happen": www.youtube.com

"The bounce on this song suggests that it’s something to be danced to, but a close listen reveals that “Jesus Children of America” is really four minutes of Sunday school admonishment. From holy rollers to drug junkies, Stevie demands that they pray for forgiveness because Jesus Christ and Mother Mary are above, saddened by their wrongs. “You'd better tell your story fast,” he urges. “And if you lie, it will come to pass.” Read a track-by-track discussion of each of the songs on "Innervision": www.billboard.com

This features a sample of speaker and self-styled Hip-Hop preacher Eric Thomas rhythmically reciting the lyrics. However, Thomas wasn't Disclosure's first choice. "I got really annoyed because we wanted to get a rapper on the album and we couldn't," Disclosure's Howard Lawrence. "We wanted someone like Kendrick [Lamar] or A$AP [Rocky] and we got really close but schedules just didn't quite work out. So I Googled 'motivational speaker from Harlem.'
"He was just chatting about business strategy for like, an hour," Howard continued. "I bought it on iTunes and sampled it – just rhythmically cut it up to make it sound like he was rapping. I basically made him rap on the album. We just put a beat to it and Guy mixed it up a little bit and that's the track."
